The best reporting I have seen so far on this breaking story. This morning on ABC radio the breaking news is 40 business people have written to the govt to complain about the budget. Shame on the complicit Australian media for not reporting about this crime. It shows you how expendable people are if they stand up for other people who are also regarded as expendable. Australian citizenship means nothing here. I am worried for Sam and all the brave people from this continent that went and feel for their families.

Some months later we were staying in Port Douglas and took a day trip to Mossman Gorge and the Kuku Yalanji Centre. A bush-walk guide Jarryd proved to be a cousin to our Botanical Gardens tour guide - both with a shared ancestor who had fought in The Great War and expended much energy post that time doing his best to keep his children out of the racist clutches of the Qld Protection Board. His name was Norman BAIRD 1888-1970 - a true hero - his father Robert Baird (1834-1907) Scottish from Ayrshire - and a one time Mayor of Cooktown. His mother was Dinah Dalkeith - the Kuku Yalanji line of descent born about 1859 in Chillagoe.
